My experience with technology

Until recently I knew very little about technology. In the previous weeks I learned about digital marketing in a course by Google. It basically taught me about online marketing tactics. I breezed through that in less than a week. After I finished that course I hungrily started taking Google’s fundamentals of IT course. I tackled this in a little over the week which means I had to pay the fee for the course $21. It was half off since I got a special deal from Coursera making my initial purchase half off. Through this course I learned about the history of computing, the makeup and organization of a desktop computer, and how to install software components. They also introduced best practices with troubleshooting. Because of this and a handful of conversations with someone who made a career out of IT I’ve decided to make it my next job and career for at least a few years. To my great surprise the Virginia state government decided to make it free for someone like me to take online certification classes and land a job. This is due to my domicile and voter registration being in Virginia. This all goes without saying that I have the bare necessities for experience in coding. I’ve started the Coursera course but have had to stop at every example and do a google search for how to complete the problem. Coding is mainly beyond me.
